About NIRF

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in 2015. It ranks higher education institutions across the country based on five broad parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RPC), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Peer Perception. Every year, institutions submit their data through the Data Capture Format (DCF) for evaluation and ranking.
