Institutional Risk Management Committee (IRMC)
In light of recent incidents and in an effort to ensure the safety, security, and smooth functioning of campuses and hostels in higher education institutions across the state, the Government has issued revised guidelines. These guidelines emphasize the need for comprehensive risk management strategies to address potential hazards and ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The establishment of an Institutional Risk Management Committee (IRMC) is central to these efforts, tasked with overseeing and auditing the safety protocols within campuses.
