To provide the youth a better understanding of the global, national and local economic issues that will confront our society now and in the future through better teaching and learning measures.  

Mission

To offer rigorous undergraduate and  post graduate degree programs with emphasis on the relationship of theory to practice, using state-of-the-art educational technology incorporating independent learning experiences, extensive student-teacher interaction, and the maintenance of a friendly, supportive environment for all students.

The basic objectives of our degree programs are:

to offer our students with suitable analytical skills to lay the foundation for lifelong learning;

to empower our students to shape them as policy-literate future citizens;

to urge the use of experiential learning, introduce students to the world of work, strengthen classroom teaching, and support in the career preparation, improvement and realisation of a career;

to orient our students for successful careers as policy experts, consultants and economists;

to offer an educational experience that enhances their innovation, competence and sense of social responsibility.
